Born and raised in Sussex, Janice Thurston is inspired by the landscapes of the Sussex downs.  She loves the seasonal changes and the effect the shifting light has on the form, patterns and colours of the hills and fields, and invites the viewer to feel this emotional connection to nature in her paintings.  Janice has been a member of Chalk Gallery Lewes since 2011.
